Taylorism or scientific management in manufacturing firms
« on: March 18, 2012, 03:04:54 am »
Fredrick Taylor was an American mechanical engineer who noticed the mismanagement in industries and manufacturing firms and sought to improve industrial efficiency. In his quest to increase the output of manufacturers and their firms, he coined the word scientific management, which is also called Taylorism.  Scientific management was the theory of management in which he proposed to analyze and synthesize the work flows.
